Originally from Northern Virginia/DC area, I moved to the Hampton Roads are in 2016. I attended Applied Kinesiology Studies in Herndon, Va. graduating in 1998. Throughout my carer I have embraced learning every aspect of massage therapy. My continuing education includes working with hip, shoulder and neck disorders. In, 2006 I completed my training through Upledger as a Lymphedema /Complex Decongestive Physiotherapist. This allowed me to work with post surgical patients who have had multiple different surgical procedures including cancer survivors. In May 2015 I graduated from the Institute of Structural Integration,(Rolf Method) allowing me to deepen my practice to further assist in pain management. I believe in the healing effects of massage and the impact it can have relieving pain in the body. It is my responsibility as massage therapist to ensure the a person feels safe and know that my intentions and focus will always be for their well being. Other areas of practice include Reiki Practitioner- third degree, Reflexology and Sound Healing/Mediation Instructor. I am a registered Yoga Instructor and Paddle-board Instructor. I love combining the two for SUP Yoga on the water for what I believe is the ultimate relaxation experience.
